What To Expect

We know that it’s not easy to walk into a new church for the first time.  There are new faces and unfamiliar surroundings.  But regardless of whether you’ve never gone to church or have been following Christ for years, we want you to know that you’re welcome here.
We’d love for you to visit!

OUR SERVICES

Our morning fellowship begins at 10:45 AM with a spirited and interactive time of teaching from a book of the Bible. We follow this time with prayer and then lunch at 12. Everyone is invited to eat with us, and if you’re a guest, don’t feel at all obligated to bring food.  We have more than enough for everyone. Our afternoon worship service starts at 1:15 PM and lasts for about an hour. Here is a sample order of worship for our afternoon service.

WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN?

We love and welcome them! Christ said, "Let the little children come unto me" (Matthew 19:14). Our practice is to enjoy their presence during both the teaching time and worship, but we also provide a separate nursery area for those times when one is needed.

OUR SINGING TOGETHER

We sing the inspired Psalms from God's word, without the aid of musical accompaniment. This reflects the rich practice of the New Testament church through the majority of her history and is in accord with the Regulative Principle of Worship, which seeks to do only that which God has prescribed in worship. We have plenty of Psalters available and are all learning together!

If you would like a taste of what this might sound like (minus a few hundred voices), listen to an example from one of our international conferences. The RPCNA congregation in Kitchener, Ontario sings psalms with skillfulness (Ps. 47:7).
